In order to serve web pages securely using SSL encryption (i.e. https://www.yourdomain.com/) your domain requires an SSL certificate.  If your website does not have an SSL certificate then your visitors will receive a warning in their browser when they visit your site using HTTPS (i.e. https://www.yourdomain.com/). HTTPS was traditionally used for login and checkout pages – pages that dealt with user’s sensitive information – however it has become standard to encrypt all pages using an SSL certificate and regular non-encrypted HTTP is becoming a thing of the past.

Once your domain is live on our servers, an SSL certificate will be installed automatically.

We also offer several options of paid private SSL certificates that we can issue and install for you; a paid private SSL certificate requires a dedicated IP address for your domain. Please contact us if you are looking for a paid private SSL certificate and dedicate IP address for your site.
