PayPal
PayPal is a fast, affordable way to accept payment online. PayPal offers no monthly fees, no setup fees and a minimum fee per transaction. Your customers do not need to be a PayPal member or login to PayPal to complete a transaction. PayPal is often offered as an additional payment method even if the online store accepts credit card payments through a merchant account.
The biggest disadvantage to PayPal is that it takes your customer away from your site, to the PayPal web site to make a payment. This could confuse your users and prevent them from completing their order.

2Checkout
2Checkout provides a turnkey solution for accepting payment via your web site. It offers a small setup fee and no monthly fee thereafter.
Disadvantages of 2Checkout are its high fee per transaction and like PayPal, it takes the customer to 2Checkout's web site to make a payment.

Beanstream is a leading provider of authentication and electronic payment processing solutions, including merchant account, credit card, EFT and ACH services. With Beanstream, you receive a real online merchant account. The advantage is that their payment gateway (including a SOAP API) is 100% transparent, completely invisible to the customer.
