Google XML sitemap information

Do you need to include the ending slash (/) in your submission?

When submitting your XML sitemap to Google. (more information on Google Sitemap available here), you will be told:

 You also need to include a trailing slash in your URL if your web server requires one. For example, http://www.google.com/ is a valid URL for a Sitemap, whereas www.google.com is not.

A Zenutech client has reported that with Zenutech Web Hosting, it turns out that you don’t want forward slashes at the end of the URLs in a Google sitemap for your server except for the main directory. It will return an error for any other URL with a slash.
